From imagination to reality in just three days — this workshop will guide participants to use the latest AI tools to transform their self-conceived characters from 2D into 3D printed models, and then into a short video ready for social media. To achieve exciting results, all you need to bring is your imagination!
What You Will Experience
- Original Character Design: Starting from building your own story world, hand-draw your very own original character
- AI-Assisted Digital Creation: Use AI tools to transform hand-drawn sketches into 2D digital illustrations, then further generate 3D-printable model files
- Animated Short Film Production: Complete an animation storyboard and use AI video tools to create a 5–10 second animated short film
- Social Media Output: Export your completed work in vertical video format, suitable for publishing on mainstream social platforms

- Cross-media Creation: Combining hand-drawing with technology, 2D with 3D, illustration with animation — experience the complete journey of creative transformation
- Behind-the-Scenes Tour: Explore HKDI Atelier's high-tech learning facilities, including the Comics Library, Fashion Archive, Visual Communication Archive, Materials Research Lab, Media Lab, V-Sion Space, and V Music Library
- Certified Achievement: Receive an HKDI Certificate and a professional recommendation letter

- Fee: $3,600 per person
