Vplus Engineering
(as ETSS) |
ETSS (Engineering Training Subsidy Scheme) is still valid till 2019 Aug 31. New name "Vplus Engineering" will be adopted starting from 2019 Sep 1.
Eligible applicants can claim 60% of the course fee paid up to a max of $45,000. Applicants may apply for fee refund for not more than two programmes under the scheme.

Reindustrialisation
and Technology Training
Programme
(RTTP) |
Eligibility: 1) Companies registered in HK under the Business Registration Ordinance (Cap. 310) 2) A non-government and non-subvented organisation 3) The nominated employee should be a Hong Kong permanent resident with the necessary background / experience relevant to the advanced technology. Subsidy: - 2:1 matching (i.e. Two-third of the course fee paid) - Each company is subject to a funding ceiling of HK$500,000 in each financial year at the course commencement date Application: Via company Eligible applicant (company) can be subsidized on a 2:1 matching basis of course fee paid. (for local companies) |

Application Procedures
CEF (Continuing Education Fund)
Eligibility:
1) Hong Kong residents who have the right of abode or the right to land or to remain in Hong Kong without restriction
2) Aged between 18 and 70
Subsidy:
Max. Amount up to $20,000
- Applicant can claim 80% of the course fee, up to max of the first $10,000 subsidy
- Applicant can claim 60% of the course fee, up to max of the second $10,000 subsidy
Application Procedures
Applicant successfully be admitted to a CEF Reimbursable Course
Upon successful completion of the course (fulfill the attendance requirement of min. 70% and marks of min. 50% in EACH module), applicant submits the CEF Application Form to the course provider for verification
Applicant submits the verified CEF Application Form, Letter of Certification by the course provider, and other documentary proof as required, to Office of CEF for BOTH account opening and fee reimbursement
Reimbursement application must be submitted within one year upon the successful completion of the course (i.e. date of certificate issuance). Late applications will not be accepted.
CITF (Construction Innovation and Technology Fund)
Eligibility:

Application Procedures
Applicant (the Company) to create an account at CITF Application Portal via CITF website www.citf.cic.hk
Complete and Submit Online Application Form in CITF Application Portal
Vet Application by the CIC
Notify application result within 30 calendar days for Pre-approved List items; within 60 calendar days for non Pre-approved List items, both upon receiving complete information
Report submission and fund disbursement according to CITF requirements (normally upon successful completion of the training concerned)
RTTP (Reindustrialization and Technology Training Programme)
Eligibility:
1) Companies registered in HK under the Business Registration Ordinance (Cap. 310)
2) A non-government and non-subvented organisation
3) The nominated employee should be a Hong Kong permanent resident with the necessary background/ experience relevant to the advanced technology.
Subsidy: 2:1 matching (i.e. Two-third of the course fee paid)

Application Procedures
Companies interested in applying for training grant for their employee(s) to attend registered public courses should submit the application via online system at least two weeks before course commencement. Alternatively, application form could be submitted to the Secretariat in person, by post, by fax or by email together with supporting documents. A list of registered public courses is available for reference. For tailor-made courses, companies should apply for course approval and training grants in one go. Late applications may not be processed and may be returned to the applicant.
Applicant (the Company) to identify relevant training courses for employees
Submit application form with supporting documents to the Secretariat at least two weeks before the commencement of training
Vetting by Secretariat
Receive confirmation letter from the Secretariat
The training grant is payable upon the satisfactory completion of the training courses. Companies should submit claim form and relevant documents to the Secretariat within two months after course completion.
