Lecturer: Hui Ka Kit
Working for the advertising and media industry in Hong Kong for over 12 years, companies include (Hong Kong: DDB, Grey, bates, Networld, Shanghai: Publicis, Createc digital, ibluesocial) has extensive online, offline and digital media creative marketing experience. His clients are some of the most established local and international brands, including adidas, new balance, lancome, biotherm, McDonald’s Hong Kong, Vita, Hong Kong Tourism Board, Café de Coral, Heineken, Galaxy Macau, HSBC, Sony, Price etc. Kakit is the first Hong Kong resident to receive a gold award in Young Spike Asia in 2012, and he continues to won international creative awards.During these 12 years, he served as the creative director of an advertising company and the head of the creative department of the media, and managed a creative team of 16 people. The nature of his work includes: brand strategy and identity setting, advertising promotion, online and offline marketing, social platform design, etc.

Lecturer: Chan Wing Sing
Chan Wing Sing is a multi-media designer working in art industry for over 10 years, the art director in media production company "Dabinlo Production Limtied", clients include the leading art organization like West Kowloon Cultural District, Taikwun Contemporary, CHAT (Centre for Heritage, Arts and Textile), K11, Hong Kong Art Development Council.

Programme Intended Learning Outcomes

On completion of the Professional Certificate in Brand Promotion, learners are expected to be able to:

(1) create brand identities applied to different collaterals consistently and creatively;
(2) apply knowledge and production skills in narrative-based projects; and
(3) create social media solutions with relevant tactics and strategies to achieve specified marketing objectives.

Entry Requirements

Basic Qualification
    - Five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, or equivalent; or
    - Five HKCEE subjects at Grade E / Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, or equivalent; or
    - Completion of a QF Level 3 programme that is deemed acceptable to the respective Programme Board; or
    - Relevant RPL qualification(s) at QF Level 3 or above AND a pass in an entrance assessment, which can be either oral or written; or
    - Other relevant verifiable prior learning and/or work experience that is/are deemed appropriate by respective Programme Board AND a pass in an entrance assessment, which can be either oral or written.

(b) Applicants are required to have at least 1 year relevant working experience.
(c) Basic knowledge of graphic communication is preferred.
(d) An interview and/or portfolio review may also be required on need basis.

Mature Applicants
Mature applicants, i.e. those aged 21 or above with at least two years’ relevant working experience, can be admitted. Where appropriate, the applicant may be required to pass an entrance assessment, which can be in an oral and/or written form.
