TSANG Pui LingDiploma of Foundation Studies - Design
Collaborated with New Town Mall and HKDI Diploma of Foundation Studies – Design, the “Character Design Competition” was open to participation by all DFS Design students. The theme “Afternoon Tea with Hong Kong Style” has won the Champion. 6 newly designed characters of “Afternoon Tea Snack” are produced as 3D light-box and displayed in New Town Mall for their customers to take photos and share to social media.
The design concept is derived from our daily afternoon tea snack, 6 characters includes “Crispy cream bun”, “Red beam ice”, “French toast”, “Coffee with tea”, “Cocktail bun” and “Buttered pineapple bun” could re-discovered the interesting aspects of Hong Kong style, and the impression of Hong Kong culture.
