HKDI Visual Communication (Publishing Design and Print Media) students participated in the 8th China Print Awards organised by The Hong Kong Printers Association. Two students received bronze awards for their excellent performance.

“Urban Futures Publication Design”, designed by YAU Wing-sau, abandons the boring design of traditional research reports. Wing-sau divided the research results into different themes, printed them on several booklets and put them in a well-designed book case for easy carrying.

Another piece was designed by Joie LEE. Her work “Calendar Design” is based on the concept of sustainability. The pointers in the clock are uniquely designed so that it can be recycled and reuse. It is suitable for all years.
