Local comics artist Theresa Lee Wai-chun started her career in the 1960s. The endless feast of stunning costumes donned by the adorable main character, 13 Dots, has won the hearts of thousands of readers. Co-organised by the Comix Home Base and Hong Kong Arts Centre, and supported by the Urban Renewal Authority, Hi! 13 Dots – Exhibition of Theresa Lee Wai-chun’s Comics Works was held from 29 Nov 2014 to 17 Jan 2015 at Comix Home Base, Wanchai. The exhibition showcases the original sketches and publications of Theresa’s comics works. With the support from HKDI, Theresa collaborated with 50 HKDI students of Fashion and Image Design students. The students spent one month to design 9 outfits based on Theresa’s comic sketches for her signature work - 13 Dots.
