The opportunity to participate in HKDI's Media Lab research project enabled me to communicate with design practitioners and people from all walks of life in Hong Kong, as well as enhance my skills of spatial understanding and interactive media development.
The research also inspired me to develop "HK-CartoPhotography", an app which allows a visual exploration of Hong Kong that integrates photographic records, 360 degree images, sound landscapes and 3D models of architectural heritage through an augmented reality interface. I am very privileged to have presented my research results and design at the International Image Festival 2018 in Mexico.
