Opening Ceremony of Imaging Poland
For academic and cultural exchange, HKDI is proud to present Imaging Poland – an educational and cultural event in collaboration with University of the Arts Poznań (UAP), Poland from 13 to 21 September 2018 at HKDI, also in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Polish independence. The opening ceremony was held on 13 September, with the honourable presence of Consul-General of Poland Miroslaw ADAMCZYK, Vice Consul of Poland Dominik JAKUSZKO, VTC Deputy Executive Director Dr Eric LIU, Principal of HKDI & IVE (Lee Wai Lee) Dr Lay Lian ONG, Vice Rector of UAP Mateusz BIECZYŃSK, and Polish Institute – Cultural Section of the Polish Embassy in Beijing Magdalena CZECHOŃSKA. The event featured a Polish film poster exhibition, documentary film screening, master lecture and animation screening, offering students and the general public a kaleidoscopic view of Polish design since the post-war period to contemporary era.
