RTHK Top 10 Gold Songs Awards is one of the main pop music awards in Hong Kong. This year marked its 40th anniversary in recognizing outstanding music talents and stimulating creativity. The award presentation ceremony was held at HKDI on 17 December 2017. For the past few years, this event has served as a platform for HKDI students to unleash their creativity. Students from different design disciplines made use of their expertise and enjoyed such valuable hands-on experience. To celebrate its 40th anniversary, a mini exhibition was held at A001 Foyer at HKDI until 1 January 2018, showcasing some outstanding designs ranging from event icons, leaflets, T-shirts to stage design created by HKDI students for RTHK over the years.
