Michael Miller Yu Autograph Session
Famous designer Michael Miller Yu is invited to join the Info Day, and he will give out a total of 400 pieces of his MMY icon (miniature light cover) with his signature to the visitors. A special guest portrait sketching master will do a quick portrait sketching of the receiver on the light cover within a minute.

Students from HD in Public Relations and Media Business and HD in Event Marketing and Promotion programmes will demonstrate their abilities and skills in designing and organizing events.

The variety show includes public speaking competitions, talent performance, project demonstration and alumni sharing. Students will play the role as event planners, masters of ceremony and performers.

Models International: Fashion Model Recruitment (Recruitment Interview)
Super model manager Candy Chan with her star professional models Eunis Chan, Lisa S and Rosa Tsang, fashion photographer Riggs Lau, Beauty Tech’s founder Dr Janae Chan, and renowned image consultant Jerrynova will come to HKDI to interview the candidates of the upcoming star models!

Urban Regeneration - Past, Present and Future
A selection of large-scale international projects presenting innovative ideas on urban regeneration by Enric Miralles and Benedetta Tagliabue at EMBT will be showcased at the HKDI Gallery with models, drawings, sketches and prototypes. Highlights include Copagri Pavilion “Love IT” for Expo Milano 2015, Spanish Pavilion for Expo 2010 Shanghai China, and the Santa Caterina Market renovation in Barcelona.

Weingart Typography
Regarded as the “enfant terrible” of modern Swiss typography, Wolfgang Weingart has revolutionised established typography rules since the mid-1960s, shaping generations of designers as a typography teacher. This exhibition at d-mart presents the groundbreaking work, creative process and teachings of Weingart and the work of his students.

The Arctic - Architecture and Extreme Environments
Venturing into storms, sub-zero temperatures and endless winter nights in the Arctic regions, from Greenland to Iceland and Svalbard, 28 Master’s students at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture (KADK), The Institute of Architecture and Technology explored new forms of spatial languages to enrich our built environments and daily lives through their own constructions and prototypes. Collaborating closely with local communities, the students’ work engages in enhancing critical architectural performance, sustainability and resilience.
