The Hong Kong Design Institute Fashion League 2017 Pop-up Store Exhibition & Interactive Workshop is the consolidated efforts of Fashion Branding and Buying graduates and students. The exhibition demonstrates to the public the career paths of students from Higher Diploma in Fashion Branding and Buying, and Higher Diploma in Fashion Media Design. Graduates from the programmes will share their learning experience interactively with participants. The Opening Ceremony will be held at 5pm on 9 June.

FORM presents existence. Form can stay, form can melt. Form can repel, form can merge. Form can SHIFT. Shift leads to a new form and eventually a new existence. The blend of the old and the new results in imagination and innovation, but not settlement. Settled minds and preconceived frameworks will be re-stimulated by [FORM / SHIFT].
HKDI’s Higher Diploma in Architectural Design commenced in Autumn 2012, followed by the commencement of the collaborative top up degree programme in BA (Hon) Architecture offered by the University of Lincoln (UOL) in 2014. [FORM / SHIFT] is an exhibition to showcase a full spectrum of the student design works, which turns a new page in the architectural education and design scene of Hong Kong. [FORM / SHIFT] will be a platform for the general public to meet a group of imaginative, creative and passionate emerging architects.

The Furniture Show 2017 features 25 projects from the first ever graduation class in Furniture Design in Hong Kong. The show challenges the limitation in furniture design industry by exploring human behaviours and social needs. Each student start the project with concerns, researches, and studies on 1 of the 4 main areas: interpersonal communication, tiny urban space, cultural integration and better living.
