With the needs on accelerating the design process, product designers are required to use advance digital modeling technology to handle free form design in markets that include domestic appliances, electronics and toys. This course integrates the design process with technology providing training on the knowledge and skill in product design on free from design development as well as parametric 3D surface modeling. The course also incorporates design project management using SolidWorks from idea and form generation to final design and presentation. Practitioners will be able to manage the project from editing, modification and visualisation to preparation on public examination on SolidWorks (e.g. Certified SolidWorks Professional, CSWP)
