Registration Number (Non-Local Higher and Professional Education (Regulation) Ordinance): 252578
Through guided but self-directed investigations, students will define their own academic pathway. Built on research and led via creative but pragmatic exploration in landscape architecture, they will successfully communicate connections between: theory, contextual analysis, project brief, conceptual proposals, design development and design detail, to produce a broad-scale, multi-layered design from strategic regional scale, right down to construction detail.
Graduates could further their studies in Postgraduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture, Master of Arts in Landscape Architecture, Master of Arts in Urban Design and Master of Philosophy (MPhil) at BCU or relevant postgraduate programmes at local and overseas universities. Upon completing a professional degree accredited by the Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects and attaining the prescribed amount of relevant work experience, a graduate can apply for professional membership after passing the professional practice examination set by the Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects.
