Full Time - 5 semesters (Normally 2 to 3 semesters during one academic year)
This programme aims to be the top-of-mind HD programme in Advertising Design that focuses on the balance between creativity and market need.
Richest possible learning experiences are provided for students who will become creative and competitive with transferable skills, cultural awareness, consumer insight and market acumen in advertising, digital marketing and brand promotions. Students will learn to create innovative advertising, integrated marketing communications, social and brand messages with greater consumer engagement, experience and participation through traditional and new media.
Students will apply creativity persuasively and realistically by transforming big ideas into compelling messages that sell. Students are trained to become adventurous advertising creatives who are open-minded, playful, confident, compelling and competitive. They are encouraged to be observant, critical and responsive in the ever changing and challenging world of advertising. This programme is designed with an emphasis on generic and language training, whole-person development and workplace experience to better prepare students for further studies and employment after graduation.
Students may choose one of the following streams so as to enhance professional knowledge and skills in specific areas :
› Higher Diploma in Advertising Design
› Higher Diploma in Advertising Design (Digital Marketing)
The 1st semester is a common semester. Students will progress to the stream in the 2nd semester (provisional), subject to their choice, academic performance and availability of places in specific streams.
